I love you sooo much!!!! Thank you for the donuts, they just got here today but we were gone at the temple so I cant pick them up. Sorry if I mis spell somethings. I am typing on a Spanish keyboard so I cant spell check and I do not know where all the punctuation marks are. Anyway, I am loving the MTC so much. When Collin said being set apart as a missionary makes you feel different and powerful he was so right. The language it going pretty good, I have memorized almost all the basic core that the gave us to have done by Sunday. I feel like I am ahead of a lot of missionaries. It is still very confusing. I know a lot of meanings of a lot of words, but I don't know the grammer or sentence structure. I am praying that that will come faster.
My companion
His name is Elder Hoffmann, he is from bowling green Kentucky. He is super nice but he has completely different interests than me. He likes instruments and video games. Doesn't really like to work out but he comes when I want to work out. He is already really good at the language, way better than I am. So that helps a lot in lessons and stuff. Don't get me wrong though, I participate just as much as him in the lessons if not more. But its a little frustrating because I cant always say what I want to say. But I am getting way better. Poco al Poco. Overall, even though we are way different, we get along because we both know why we are here and we are focused on the work.
The MTC
The MTC or CCM is absolutely beautiful. Every thing about it!! It is green, kept up, you look up at the hills and there are a bunch of Mexican houses that are all painted different colors. It looks awesome. The food is all right and there is plenty of it. The MTC president is super cool. It was pretty crazy, we got here and the next day we had to teach a lesson in Spanish. Every day they have us teach one of the Spanish teachers why they play the part of an investigator. This one girl we got her to commit to be baptized. It is actually pretty funny because I challenged her to be baptized and I wasn't expecting her to say yes. So I wasn't prepared to respond, and the only date I could thing of in Spanish was October 1st. Which is super far away hahah. But thats ok, she is getting baptized ahahah. Also we taught her the word of wisdom and she didn't understand why she couldn't drink coffee so we had to explain to her in Spanish, which was supper hard. We just told her that we may not understand all the commandments but we need to have faith in the prophets and christ and we will be blessed for it. Its weird, even though she wasn't a real investigator I could feel my love for her growing and I know that feeling will increase out in the actual field.
I have so much to say but not enough time.
I love you mom
Just know that god is opening my mind to the language, I am having a blast, and the spirit is so strong.
I am loving every second
Love Elder Fuller
